I was very conservative when i scored it so he didn't have a big shock when it is officially done. I've got it netting between 134 and 137. The last couple of years we've been getting good racked bucks around here with weak brow tines. To get over the 140 with a main frame 5x5 like that it needs better brows.

A 146 4x4 is definetly not common. You need some pretty unique characteristics to get there. Tine length and mass are the biggest of them I bet.

wow, thanks, i'll have to check but if i remember right the inside width was 23-24"'s, 2 tines, 14-16"'s, brows 10-11, forget the other numbers though.

a couple years ago i nailed what should have been a 5x6 in the 160's only half his rack was good cause he had 5 tines broken off one side, wish i saw the buck that did that to him!

also nailed a big 5x4 scored rough 150's, lots of bucks in my area with no brow tines or forked brow tines now.

i've got a 4x4 that scored 141 & my bro has a 4x4 that scored 143... both came from about 1 mile from each other, & their antlers have a LOT of similarities... shot 3 years apart from each other.

anyway, i put the bow away & i've been hunting with muzzle for a couple weeks... anywhere from 20 to 45 deer every day on the field i'm hunting, but NO horns worth shooting at yet...

Well judging by the picture, it may be possible that it scored that high. It's very even, lots of mass, and lots of length. I know that 180's sounds too big to be true, but I would almost say its right up in that point area.

WOW what a rack. My curse continues without a bowkill. I shot at a repectable 4x4 last sunday. hit him right in the shoulder. 3 blade muzzy broke off in the bone. He'll be fine, my confidence will not LOL

thanks for the pics JB... now everyone can see just how ridiculously big it actually is!! LOL... so it's a 6x7 frame with some extra junk really... if you look on the Manitoba Archery website he's apparently got trail cam pics of that buck from all the way back to February or something like that... you should see it in velvet!!! WOW!!!
