If you smell gas dont try starting your truck

Came home today and one of my neighbors was working on his truck he just bought yesterday. There was gas all over the ground. about 9 pm i hear a bunch of screaming and yelling. The truck was on fire with flames shooting close to 20 feet in the air. Here are a few pics of it after they put it out. Worse part is it wasnt even insured.

Cool

If that was mine, I'd be sick! Looks like it was a real nice truck, shame it burnt. Tracstar

I really felt sorry for the guy, he isnt much older than 20. I saw alot of gas on the ground when it was sitting there and the smell was real bad.
Other neighbor said the oil was full of gas and told them not to try to start it, but they did anyway. Lesson learned i guess, insure your truck and never try to start a truck thats flooded that bad.

sneaker will become famous soon enough
looks like somebody built it by swapping an s10 body on to an old fullsize chassis. He could maybe salvage the chassis.Bummer.

I was about to drop the coverage on my quad because it's needing some repairs that I can't afford, and I figured it wasn't going anywhere anyway......
Thanks for changing my mind!!!

Crappy deal it looks like there was a bit of coin tied up in that truck. Maybe should have listened to the people telling him not to try starting it. Very tough lesson to learn.

http://youtu.be/_k2T3WjxMTE
