I like my Nitto's Terra Grapplers. Had them on for 16000 km now and they have been great... 295/70 R18 were 1400 installed and balanced at Kal Tire!

I went with the Kelly safari tsr in size 285x75x17, installed and balanced for 1162 out the door at a local guy. Google them, I read a lot of good reviews on this tire and price was right. It was a toss up between these and km2 but km2 is hard to get and they also have no seeps unlike the the Kelly's. also ran good year athuoritys from Walmart, I would not judge that tire harshly at all though. That is a great tire and very good price, don't give thought to the fact that they come from wal Mart, and man do they rooster tail in mud or damp grass.

B2Motosport will become famous soon enough
A lot will depend if you are concerned with fuel mileage? If you are like most of us who own trucks its not much of a concern or we would be driving hatchbacks. My last two tires I have had were BFG Mud Terrain (285/75/16?? older style not KM2) and currently Nitto Trail Grappler (305/55/20). Both are a heavy tire as are all mudders but they look great and they work in the mud.

The BFG I found to be great tire except I had cracking in the tread which I wasn't happy with as they carry a premium price. That said I was surprised how good they were in winter.

The Nitto's look great wicked side wall, wear has been very good, they are louder than an all terrain but not too bad. They are made in US so no duty if you decide to purchase stateside (when I bought there weren't to many Canadian retailers carrying the trail grappler as it was relatively new).

When I sold my buddy my Chevy he got the Terra Grapplers and to me they seemed to wear faster than I expected but he liked them.

With my new truck I am going to look at Cooper Zeon LTZ, and General Grabbers but I have zero experience with these two.

Anyone got any info on the Wild Country XTX Sport? Was looking for some new shoes for my 2010 F-150. Same size as stock. I live about 2 blocks from the KAL Tire dealer on Oak Point highway so I went there. I was looking at the Falkens but the guy tried to sell me on the Wild Country.

Ford Dealer wants just under $1800 out the door for Duratracs. Fountain Tire wants $1941.

I want something better in winter then the POS Goodyear passenger tires that came with the truck.

Haven't heard of anyone running them. I know people are happy with Duratracs though.

I will say that I had several unhappy experiences with that Kal location and will NEVER go back.

just an update on the falken wildpeaks in snow, amazing.
zero complaints on them. have yet to get stuck. and ive been trying lol. they just eat through hard pack and crusty/icy snow. and loose snow doesnt phase them either.

on the street in slick conditions, not much wheel slip either unless i really hit the gas. if i want to drift a snowy corner, i actually have to give it quite a bit of gas. although, i do have weight in the bed, like any pickup owner should.

as for kal tire, ive never heard anything good about them from anyone.
PM bbertram for some pricing man, way better prices than a dealership, or tire shop like fountain tire.
and any place that tries to sell me something other than what i go in looking for, loses some respect from me. i go in looking for something, because its what i want. dont try and tell me i actually want something else. ive done my research, i know what i want. just my opinion lol.

What size of tire are you looking at? There are several stock sizes. I'll see if I can get you a better price on the Duratracs or suggest an alternative.

275/65R18. The only concern I have is installation. You guys are in Brandon? Will any shop install them if I take the tires to them?

For a winter tire we got some arctic claws on our service truck and they are great for winter. I personally put Bfg a/ts on my duramax and absolutely love them. Was pushing snow with my bumper during hunting... Love them!

BFG at are so overrated and outdated. So many better options. Especially considering they cost so much.

Just my opinion.

Two places will mount your tires no questions asked in Brandon. If you have a place you want to mount the tires just tell them you got them for Christmas then they shouldn't treat you any different.

All prices are taxes in delivered to Brandon for 4 tires.

Duratracs $1349
Falken Wildpeak $1199
BFG All-terrain $1199

Those are the best tires in that size. All look to be in stock and would take about a 5-7 business days to get in.

You have to admire a dealer that will post prices on Trackshare. I know my next set of tires will be coming from this man even if he is on the other side of the province just because he's not trying to squeeze every penny he can out of every customer.
Nothing pisses me off more than finding out a friend got a better price than me at the same dealer. My time is valuable to me and I have no use for any dealer that won't give their best price up front. Sadly, I'm running out of places to shop on this side of the province.

Wrangler territories! I had them on my S10 ZR2, and now again on my silverado in 285/70/17 without a lift kit. I have 60 000km on them now and still %70 or so tread left. Grab well in snow, same in muck, nice big lugs, and half the price of any big name off road tires. Pro comp, micky t, Nitto etc. Get em at Canadian tire on a 3 for 4 deal, plus you cant go wrong with their warranty!
I dont do alot of heavy hauling, but the toys do get moved around alot. Lots of highway city drivin, and they still pulled me through every blizzard this year gettin called out for storm work. Great tire for the price, ill never look back!
