I have a 2007 650 brute force that after about 30 mph it does not like to accelerate very fast and has a hard time getting over 55 mph. It won't pull a hill with out losing at least 5 mph or more. And when runnin it wide open it spits and sputters and seems to be missingg. Runs good at lower rpms. And input will be appreciated.

keep it simple to start change plugs and fuel filter and wires if they are fairly cheap to buy

Do they happen to have a fuel filter? And if so where?

Don't mess with the fuel filter idea. Clean and re-oil your air filter and dump a cap of sea-foam down each carb throat. Check your air box lid gasket and for exhaust leaks. OR JUST CALL ADVENTURE POWER PRODUCTS.

I ran into the same issue with my 07 650 brute when it got a little splash of water in the air box, ended up having to get the carbs cleaned. I would recommend what motorboat said and put some seafoam in and make sure you have some good clean fuel going into it.

My 06 650i doesn't really go any faster then 55mph either, I use sea foam in my fuel, but have not poured some into the carbs, maybe i should try that.

Ya try the air box lid seal, they are bad for that too. I took mine out cleaned it and put a good bead of silicone were the gasket goes and let it dry. No problems with that any more. The stock gasket goes flat and if it lets any air through it will run like crap.
