Tranny Cracked on 800
Well the kid was rippin my bike and then it stopped,broken rear driveshaft,u-joints,yoke.So i rode home in front wheel drive and finally got a chance to look at it tonight and the tranny is cracked at the top on rear mount.The frame of the bike is dented pretty good where the driveshaft hit it and then i guess it jammed and broke tranny.The solid Mr.RPM mounts probably didn't help either..i guess the bike is getting tlc for the winter...

Yeah it could be a costly fix..unfortunately i have autopac but no collision...

I sure hope it snows now so i can ride my sleds...lol

I can't understand why people put all types of money into there machines and don't spend the $200 a year to get collision. Makes no sense to me

After twisting off two stock rear driveshafts in one year on my 2010 Outlander 800 I had a machine shop build a custom shaft using thicker walled tubing and the stock joints/yokes.

Never had a problem again, glad I had it done before something like this happened.
