Now that we are into November it has been done.
I had an uncle that I never got to meet that was taken from our family in WWII. He is buried in Amsterdam. He was killed with 6 days left in the war. I always thought that it wasnt fair to survive that whole time to be taken with just days left, but death has no boundaries. Still dont like as I write this, I shed a tear everytime. All my uncles and my father served for us in their younger years protecting us and what we have now. My father was soooo proud when he applied for his veterans plate and was accepted. When he got it and put it on his car all he wanted to do was drive around town. Proud of you to this day Papa. Gone but never forgotten. Last edited by HONDABBQ; 11-01-2012 at 08:08 AM. Reason: typo
