Gio min hummer battery

Does anyone know if the Gio mini hummer battery is charging while the bike is running??

Yes the battery is receiving a charge while the engine is running if everything is operating normally.I think the charging system is weak on these quads so I kept the lights turned off and put the trickle charger on it when the kids finished riding. Also I installed a real motorcycle battery in place of the stock junk.

Thanks for the reply. I have found that when these quads sit for any period of time the battery drains to the point that it will still turn the motor over but it will not allow the bike to run at idle and the bike stalls out. I have put in new NGK spark plug because I thought that this was my initial problem but it turns out that if the battery doesn't have enough juice the bike will not idle properly after you get it started and will stall out. I think I may go get a new brand name battery as well. Thanks again!!
