winchester 300 WSM ammo N.G.

Went for a 10 day moose hunting trip, I previously bought a box of 300 WSM ammo and shot almost a whole box with my new Browning BLR, decided to buy a full box to take hunting, when I arrived at our camp, I thought I'd try and shoot at least 3 and see where gun was grouping. Only 2 of the 20 would chamber into my gun. My buddy who reloads said he's never heard of factor ammo doing that! To say the least I am pissed off. Anyone out there have that happen to them.

I had extraction problems with some Hornady .270 a few years ago, none with chambering though.

Maybe take some measurements and contact Winchester if they are out of spec. ?

I just bought a bag of new hornady brass for my 7mm, and already had one that went into the chamber, but my bolt stopped dead on the first action sliding forward and would absolutely not bolt down. Turned out to be a thicker belt ring at the bottom 1/4 of the brass. Was very odd to have that apparently?? Only one like that out of the whole lot, but at a hundred bucks a box, there should be zero flaws.

Yea thats unheard of, my buddy I talked to said he had the exact same issue but in 7MM, he emailed winchester and apparently they needed pics of the ammo, and they reimbursed each shell.

If you can, examine the chamber of your rifle for any debris or defects. Or does it still perfectly chamber rounds from a different manufacturer?

Ya, I would really inspect your gun. If all good then ya bad ammo 100%.

Just an FYI Winchester is not American owned anymore. It is own by the Japanese. Not sure exactly who/where the ammo is being made. But I'm pretty sure it's not in America.
