Polaris engine codes

So I get 2 engine codes that pop up here and there with my 09 xp 850. They kinda come go and aren't really a problem, except when they put up and I'm in a mud hole. It kills the throttle.

There are 2 instances I've noticed when they pop up

1. Steady cruising and then a sudden release of the throttle
2. Usually when I'm stuck in a mud whole and the bike is at angle. Big angle.

The 2 codes are.

520194 7. Throttle safety signal/throttle stuck
84 2. Vehicle speed signal/plausibility fault

I have the book and I'm very fluent with an electrical tester but not sure where to start or exactly what the codes are telling me. Any other xp owners get these or does someone have any ideas.

Thanks

FORKLIFT will become famous soon enough
I just had that #7 code come up on my 2010 850xp.Found that the throttle cable was out of adjustment. The locking nut for the cable had come loose.I adjusted the cable as per owners manual and machine has been fine ever since.
As for #2 code I would check wires to speed sensor.

Thanks forklift I'll check that out. Do you know where the speed sensor would be?
