If I wanted to get my sticker created here in Brandon what graphic do I supply them with to create it? Do you have one or is it just the trackshare logo stretched out?

Does this logo have anything on it so people know what it is . Like "Your ATV adventure" or "Meets Friends for ATV rides" or some thing that catches people's atention and makes them want to write it down, or does it just say trackshare.com on it ? I know if i was not aware of trackshare i might see the www.trackshare logo and think too myself "hmmm wonder whats all about " but would soon forget it. But if it had something like "Your Guide For ATV Rides" i would have a good imprint in my mind and would want to remember it. I'm not saying I don't like the logo, i Just think it's just not saying what it is and needs a little more info. A slogan if you will ? I have a trackshare sticker on my quad and several people at my work when it's still in my box made comments like "why don't you take that sticker off" or "or like one guy said " Why do you have a web address on your quad" In both instaces they didn't make the connection to ATV's. The one guy just thought it was like some kind of advertising for some kind of aftermarket parts the dealer put on.. Anyway that got me thinking and wondering if our logo is on the right track !

Just my 2 cents. what do you all think.

Ramco has valid point... so I threw these together for you see. It only takes a second so if anyone has other slogan Ideas post them and I will create them for your perusal and comments. I think that for window decals stickers the slogan should be in white lettering, but would be in black for business cards and other such things.

Of course these would all be on a clear background not white as shown here.

Talking

I still like ..............

TrackShare ....... "We do it in the dirt!"

But maybe it would be better to talk about the whole Idea of trackshare as a guide to trails, outdoors, hunting, fishing, trucks, ATV's and TRACKS, TRAILS, and lets not forget GPS mapping and the exchange of GPS tracks.

What is important, to me it is the outdoors experience with friends.

Maybe

www.TrackShare.com
For the outdoor enthusiast.
or
www.trackshare.com
Your guide to the Outdoors

I like that one because it implies that it belongs somewhat to us as members.

or

www.trackshare.com
Your outdoor guide

something like that, lets hear what everyone else has to say.

This is the one I like, it tells people what the site is about. We don't do all things outdoors, we quad for the most part. Isn't this site supposed to bring riders together ?

I really think the intention was for more than ATVing, even though that is a popular application.

Do we want to necessairly define it as an ATV only sight? ..... because there is so much more to the site than just ATVing.

I hope with more and more membership there could be even that much more variety to the site if we were to get the interest from our quickly growing membership.

Right now it is the ATV community that is shareing it with others but the potential is unlimited right?

This is my opinion only but I think it is important not to define Trackshare as an ATV only web site and as an

Outdoor enthusiast's information highway!

Good Slogans Everyone!

My vision for TrackShare has always been an Outdoor Enthusiasts site. I know if has a heavy ATV influence, which is great because it’s such great way to enjoy the outdoors and it can be a great family sport! I really think this site has a lot more to offer then just ATV's though. Things like fishing, camping, GPS navigation, and outdoor adventures. I guess what I am saying is I would prefer not to limit the site to ATV's alone...

I realize the TrackShare name isn't all that descriptive and that is why I wanted to get a picture incorporated into the logo that gave people an idea of what we are.

Another way of looking at it is that if people are asking what TrackShare is then haven't we done our job?? I would prefer explaining it to someone then having him or her get a skewed interpretation of the site before actually visiting it. I think the more people that see it the TrackShare name is the key to attracting them through shear curiosity.

My 2 cents…

Thanks for everyones input on this subject!!
