Riders opinions: 1984 DX225 Yamaha
I knew it wouldn't be long till I was back on a trike..
So today I stumbled upon a 1984 Yamaha 225DX trike running for $600. Plastic relatively decent.. aside from some cracks in plastic behind rear seat, needs seat recovered (foam intact). Plastic also has fading/pitting from being exposed to elements. As of this moment I have talked owner down to $450.. and pretty sure thats as low as i can get it. My question is: what is your opinions on these trikes? and can plastic be polished back to reasonably decent yellow again? I personally am a Honda buyer. I have limited knowledge in Yamaha.
