Need new tires

Does anyone have an opinion about BF Goodrich KO2 TIRES? How do they perform on snow and ice? And what's the tread wear like? I have a 2 wheel drive truck with a limited slip rear end. Its dangerous on ice because the back end kicks out when you pass or accelerate. I had Duratracs on for three years and I liked them when they were new and now they need replacing. Went with the P metric when I should have gone with the LT instead for better tread wear. Not interested in winter tires. Any thoughts about studded Kelly Springfield TSRs? Any other suggestions?

I've had the KO2 for one winter and I like them. Reasonably quiet in the highway and get me where I need to go hunting outdoors. My truck is 4WD though.
For ice I have heard that the duratracs are a bit better so it you're doing a lot of winter highway driving, might be a better choice.

Not sure on the Springfields, but the TSR Safaris are total crap. Wear is unbelievable fast. Traction is also crap on anything but dry roads. I have the AT KO on my 2wd ram with limited slip, and they're great. They wear a tad fast due to the soft compound but found them unbelievable in snow and on ice. I would totally recommend them.

Bfg at tires are garbage I donít know why people like them. They crack to crap before you wear them out. They have decent ice traction but thatís about it.

My vote goes towards duratracs for life and traction.

Had Duratracs and they were great, good in pretty much any weather. Got 120K out of them. Bought a set of next to new Bfg's and the only thing right about them is/was the price.

Just put on 275x60x20 Michelin Defenders LT M/S (mud and snow) tires on my Ram. They are the best tire I have ever had on and are very quiet and rated for over 100K.
