Pics of trucking today.

I was a little bored coming home today, so I snapped a bunch of pics with the iPhone, lots never turned out, to shakey. lol

Here are some pics from Letellier to Gerald, including a stop at Timmy's in Brandon.

996.1 Kilometers in Total.

If you see it on the side of the road someday, give me a ride home. The "Stop Engine" light keeps coming on and cutting my power down, it was in on Wednesday to get fixed but it didn't change anything. lol

I enjoyed that one also. I don't stop very often cause I carry a thermos I bring from home but I have a head cold the last couple of days, so I needed a break from the truck and Timmy's in Brandon is about the right place on the trip home.

We do around trip every 2nd day from Gerald to Seed-Ex in Letellier and then reload on the other day to head back again. Usually 2 trucks per day going.

The biggest hills/valleys I have is the one by Brandon, then the Qu'Appelle Valley north of Rocanville on Hwy 8 and then through the Cutarm twice. If we need chains we stay home. A load of feed barley is not a RUSH comodity.

I see you use the same camera as me, but your GPS is off.lol I was trying to see where the house with the red roof was just for fun. lol. My GPS was on today on these pics.

Nope, just loaded going down.

What do you call Jordan Corner?

We were going right down to Winkler, but I started to use 23 past Roland instead, less traffic and avoid all the lights at Winkler.

OK. These trucks ride pretty good and after driving on some of the roads around here, that stretch isn't that bad. lol

The section from there to Winkler is nice, but then I have to deal with the lights etc. Empty it's not bad through there, but loaded can slow you down pretty good if the guy in front of you doesn't put a Toonie in to keep the lights green for you.

I like to sleep at home, and I only do this part time in the winter and only if he needs another driver. I am the first guy gone if it gets slow.
