Rav 4 or CRV?

We are think of trading off our Chevy Equinox before our next major repair bill. Thinking of getting a Toyota rav 4 or Honda CRV, does anyone have any experience with either of these vehicles and what are your opinions.

New or used? I was looking into used one's at one time. There's some years better than others. Both vehicles have a decent reputation. The Rav4 at one time was available with a V6 that really gave it some decent power. The CRV and Rav4 now are only available as 4 bangers as far as I know.

rav4, but being biased as we have had toyotas in the family since forever and have always been top notch. Had a 99 rav4 that was bulletproof until a texting driver rear ended it and it got written off. So, bought a Sequoia instead and it's been great.

Juicer is on a distinguished road
We had a 2010 CRV and no complaints here. The stock tires were crap in winter. We ended up buying winter tires and it made a huge difference.

My wife has had a couple RAV4s, no complaints. I don't think either would be a bad choice. Both of her RAVs have been 4 bangers, no complaints with lack of power, and they're pretty decent on fuel.

Rav4...has the option to lock all 4 wheels with a push of a button instead if just 1 front and 1 rear spinning like a crv..i work in a dealership group and drive these daily. One of my buddies chose a crv out of the 2 for his wife and said it was a big mistake..she hates it in winter because if the 2 wheel drive even though they bought awd.
.stuck constantly on their country road. He's trading for a rav4.

My wife has a 04 CRV and it’s been great, over 320,000km and still going strong and really not much money put in it other then normal wear items. I would avoid the 06-09 crv’s and it might have stretched longer, but they had bad oil consumption issues. Rav 4s are nice, my mom has the v6 it’s a 13 I think...worst thing is the ride, CRV is way better ride then the Rav in my experience and better on gravel.

I have a 2000 Rav 4 and my daughter has a 2015 Rav both are excellent vehicles we have had our 2000 since new its gutless but its been great and only a 150,000 km on it. Only this year I found a rust spot and its from when my son smacked it up and they replaced the 1/4 panel.

I really wanted the Rav4 and after a month of searching and driving approx. 4 vehicles (2013 year) and could not make any deals with Birchwood plus there ripoff $1000.00 mandatory roadside BS scam on top of that, I seen a 2012 Honda CRV went to road test and bought it. Reason being was front visibility was way better and much quieter half the engine and road noise. try it for yourself.
