Driveline vibration 2010 Escape

I'm looking for a 2010(ish) Escape XLT 3.0 AWD automatic....

I've driven two now that have a driveline vibration that starts subtly at about 95 kph and builds to a medium freq (about twice wheel imbalance freq) by 105 kph and remains about the same intensity (medium and annoying) to 115 kph (where I quit accelerating).

I have been doing some Google searching but have come up with about 100 possible reasons for this...does anyone here have personal experience with Escapes that can address this?

Have owned an 09 escape limited 4wd from new till now and haven't had any of those symptoms. Are you driving these on totally dry roads? Reason I ask is after this last snow storm, I put some miles on the highway where there was hard packed snow, and had an exact same vibe you are describing. However I'd come onto some some solid roads with zero snow and never happened after that? It seemed to be very packed sections with almost glare ice spots where this happened.....may not help, but that was something I noticed this last weekend.

Do your tires look ok no bulging, no big mud blobs stick to rim ,usually on the motor side of rim will cause a vibration. I had a similar problem after rotating tires on wife's Acadia start at about 80 km s and stop at about 120 ish. Took tires off again wire wheeled off all of the rust off of the rotors and the rims problem solved for me no more vibration
