Yes we have about 8" after today's snow...gonna start the break-in tomorrow....I have a nice rolled bean field right across from the shop to run on. The sled has a 2 stage break-in: Stage 1 the ECM provides added fuel and oil and limits RPM to 6500 for the first 18 minutes of run time. Stage 2 the ECM still adds additional fuel and oil (less than stage 1) and has no RPM limiter until the run time reaches 6 hours. Then everything programs to the standard fuel and oil rates.

I had considered running it another season...mileage will still be adding up on it though...my oldest grandson will be riding it but nowhere as much as I did.

I got 17 miles in this morning on the Viper from Stony to almost Teulon and back. Fuel light started flashing so I turned around. Ditches are dry/frozen along #7.......no issues. More snow and cold temps = a great riding season !!

Congrats to all of you with new rides. RWS - I got a good look at one of those sleds at the Snomnan Congress yesterday. Nice looking ride.

We got quite abit of snow in the Interlake. Tracks all over the place heading to Stonewall. I can get out of the garage and off the street without touching concrete.

Carbides are 2 seasons old anyway.....roughly 4000 miles........getting swapped out after first grooming.

Why did you pick RR model? Figured with your mileage, you would want more plush settings

Cat has softened the RR suspension since it's debut. I also wanted the QS3's with rebound. If I need to soften it more springs are like $26 each and also can revalve. At 5'1" and 104 lbs I should be able to get it set up to suite me.

Hey RWS -- did you buy the upgrade wind shield.. protect you will all the wind ...

How the heck do you have already 113 miles on your sled ... you better slow down
otherwise you might just wear this baby out before the season begins

Nice looking sled ... Hope it treats you well
