Falcon Lake parking

I was planning to do the Whiteshell Provincial Park loop from Falcon Lake. Where is a good (safe) place I can stage at Falcon Lake and leave SUV and trailer where I will not be towed and have quick access to trail north to Whiteshell.
Thanks

good point. I have my OFSC pass/sticker Snoman pass but did not think of that. Just have to look up where to get a Park Pass.
I live in Winnipeg but have to keep the sled in Kenora at parents garage after we sold our house in Wpg and moved into a downtown condo. love the condo but miss garage.
Thanks again.

Winslow has a spectacular aura aboutWinslow has a spectacular aura about
I have parked many times at Falcon Lake for sledding
Do not remember that we need to have Parking Pass
or a Park Pass

I have never seen anyone towed or ticketed .. Guess I
am lucky if that is the rule

You can buy a daily park pass at the Shell station in Falcon Lake...like $4 or $5. If you plan on parking in Provincial Parks often buy a annual pass...probably can get that a Shell too.

Googled it and did realize there was a ski hill there. Drove by Falcon for 30 years on the Hwy. and didn't know they had a ski hill.
I am guessing there is a trail to the main sled trail.

Yes you can get on the trail from the ski hill. But what would be the point of driving 7 extra miles to the dead end ski hill when you can park in the staging area with the trail right beside the lot?

Please do not stage at the Falcon Ridge ski hill, the parking lot is for the resort and ski hill.
It is posted no snowmobile staging.
Park in the designated staging area at the mall

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but is there anywhere to sit and eat in Falcon this winter?

Drove into Falcon Lake on the way to Winnipeg the other day and yes there is a large staging area that will be perfect. Thank for all the feedback. Hope to go out there soon.
