Thumbs up Where have you had great service lately?

I just want a thread to ask where have you got good service from a dealer lately. To many people are worryied about how bad a dealership is, or more correctly to let people know how bad they feel it is. Lets hear some good stories Maybe hear some stories why not to just buy a machine out of the states to save a buck. I myself am partial to Crikside but lets hear others as well. It doesnt have to be just sales, can be parts or the service department

I've had excellent service at Swen's Kawasaki in Elie. When Swen say's it'll be ready by... He always delivers! One time, I told him my buddy was in a rush and he took parts of a floor model to get it going that day! (We had a Derby) Very personable as well, always made me feel I left it in good hands.

Sounds like you all have some GREAT dealerships up North.

Down here where I live, I have approx 4 dealerships within 20 miles of my home. and I've NEVER had any of them be as "Outgoing & Helpful" as what I read about on the forum.

I'm sure there might be a few locals here that like the dealers here, but personally, I'll do my own work & order parts online before I'll support the unfriendly, high priced, dealers here.

I'd like to stop in a place like Crikside, Swen's Kawasaki, or Vinnies & get the feeling I was really welcome & not just someone they wanta get money from. Savvy ??

Vinnies for tires: best price I could find even after internet surfing. 27" mudlite XTR's. Good communication, they phoned me when tires arrived in his shop, I went down and bang/bang old tires off the rims and new tires on w/o leaks in less than 15 minutes, even unloaded the old tires from the truck and loaded back up when done as they said they didn't want me to get my hands dirty (wtf). Excel is succesful for a reason cause they do good work and treat people well.

U-Motors in Fargo: Bought a Rhino there a few months ago. All paperwork was perfect. They advised border and made instructions on every step of the way. machine was FULLY Serviced even though it was brand new. I arrived Fri am and was leaving Fargo Sunday. They said since I was staying the weekend anyways they would do a full inspection. Went through everything (oils, checked belt (took off belt cover) etc... on a brand new machine. They found 1 missing bolt from the factory for front skid pan and a decal that was torn. Replaced both. Apologized for no gas in the machine as their pump was empty so paid for a full tank in cash as I was leaving.

L.A.D. in Selkirk and Excel Auto in Stonewall. Both have given me excellent service. Vinnie at Excel is awesome to deal with & talk to. Lawrence & Rick at L.A.D. have been just great with the purchase & service on my bike, from day one. Five star rating for both these Dealer's.

This is what I am talking about guys(gals) It is good to hear these stories, maybe you can sway some people to try other products because of a good experance or make some competition for the dealers, to get there name up here.

Vinnie at Excel is hands down the best to deal with for parts and tires. I recommend him to anyone who asks.

Crikeside is great, bought used parts when redoing my Pantera and was great to deal with, even gave my money back when one USED piece was not up to proper standards.

Red River yamaha (formerly Dubois) is great to deal with. They have always provided great service on my quad. My buddy had his Yamaha Attack in for an autopac claim and one cover was backordered, when it came in they sent someone to his house to install it.

I have had great service at Dauphin Speed and Sport. Although I did not purchase my quad there, they have had no problem honoring my warranty, work was done quickly and efficiently. I know that when I purchase my next quad they will be at the top of my list. A real pleasure to deal with and talk to.

We have had just nothing but AWESOME service from Enns bros Morris, Oakbluff and there dealership at Winnipeg East. The one time when our quad went in for warranty work they have a used Outty Max full of full to use for the entire week even though the repair only took a day or so. They have very intelligent people working there and when they say something is going to be ready it is. The deals have been very good as well and when they say they are going to ship something a certain day, it gets shipped that day.

Plus last year when my Family and Friends did a fund raiser for me so I could go to this pain clinic due to me have Fibromyalgia, you guys should see what they donated!!!!! There is NO dealer around here that even came close to what Enns Bros did and for that I will ALWAYS go back to Enns Bros where you are treated right!!!!

And good for you to have a dealer that comes through, That is the very same reason why I stay with Crikside, not sure about other customers but if they go the extra mile to make me a happy customer I dont see why they would not do it for the next guy.

Cash plus they had a silent auction at the fund raiser and Enns Bros donated jerkeys, jackets and t-shirts. We were just blown away to say the least!!! There should be more dealers like this that's for sure!!

Glad you too found a dealer that treats you right, it means alot.

I've bought 3 machines from an unnamed dealership in Headingley at full MSRP, and all we got was the option to buy accessories @ 10% less than list for that same visit!!

I will say they did give us a loaner machine when one was in for work, so we could ride for the long weekend. That was appreciated, but that's the only thing. Even when I went back a couple months after buying one and asked for a social donation for my own wedding social, I got a damn hat and that's it, after 3 machines in the previous 3 - 4 years. I ALWAYS try to buy stuff there, and nothing but list price for tires / rims whatever. I've given up now.

On the up side, Vinnie's been great for quad tires / parts.

If I buy a new machine any time soon on this side of the border, I'm gonna have to come back to this thread to find a good dealer I guess!
