900

You can drill the holes out, but if you decide to sell them later they will only be good for the 900. I was contemplating doing the same. Instead I sold my tracks from my 800 and then ordered the new tracks for the 900 with 2 year warranty.

900

RussB. Also with the new tracks there are 2 sets of holes, so then you can use them on other machines from polaris as well. Its a win win!

If you contact a track dealer they will be able to cross reference your old machine to your new one and get you just the parts you need. If you drill the holes out and they are off slightly you will throw it out of round and not balance properly . You might get away with a few minor pieces, so if your tracks are in good shape no need to spend a lot of money to get new tracks

The pieces required to change for a fit are the hubs. The hubs are $100+ each.

Yes you can definately mount your old tracks to the new Ranger 900. As mentioned above you will have to drill out the hubs which makes them only good for the 900. New hubs are $134.95 ea.

Pol Rang 900XP hub bolt size

The new ranger 900 has a 12mm bolt rather than 10mm so if you are converting an older set off a 700 or 800 Ranger than you need to drill out to 12mm on the hole configuration that lines up with your bolt pattern on the machine's hub.

You can use the next closest size larger in a standard size if you don't have a 12mm drill bit.
