Pulling tubes hp??

Looking at maybe buying a Lund rebel xlss it has a 50hp and just wondering if it would be possible to pull a tube with say 2 people on it??

No Problem. I used to pull with a 25HP on a 16ft boat. takes a while to get going...but she'll work. :-)

How big are the people? Like Palss said, it'll take a bit to get going but it should work, even less so if you're pulling kids. We have a 115 on ours, but we're sometimes pulling up to 300 lbs, also a double tube. Whatever the case, make sure the tube is fully inflated at all times.

You can also try taking off in a bit of a circle and not a straight line, this way the boat can have a little more time to get going without pulling the tube full-on.
It takes a little practice to get it right but works out well if needed.

Done this many times to get 3 big guys out of the water on tubes.. works great!

Thanks guys not sure yet if we want to get rid of the rzr and buy a boat,going saturday to have a look at some anyway.

O and a side note, it is much better to pull two or more tubes if you can, three works really well, that way you have crashes on just about every turn and the motivation to hang on through the waves increases to stupid levels.

Guessing that is without the motor as it says motor optional.

No motor included and it's a tourist camp boat. Belongs to tomohawk resort in Sioux narrows.

I've got a lund rebel with a 60 and I installed a ski pole and have been pulling a flat Air head tube for years with two kids on it most of the time and it has no problem . Kids are 9 and 13 boys. we also wake board and dual Knee boar behind it as well. my oldest and my wife both have Slolomed behind it. a little tough getting out but i does work.

Talked it over last night should lots of power for the tube looks like we're going to get a 850 instead
