Picked up an 06 M7 141 efi over the summer. Needed a little TLC and a lot of work, but it's almost all back together. Installed a hitch kit and wanted to brace the tunnel before putting the skid back in. Got a couple of pieces of stainless cut and bent last night, so maybe that's tonight's job.

List of shit done on the sled since picking it up in August:

replaced cracked A-arm and some missing hardware
replaced front bumper
replaced left side plastic
replaced handlebars and installed riser
replaced all bearings and seals in diamond drive
replaced all skid bearings
rebuilt all shocks
repaired skid rails (both were cracked)
replaced seat with new m-series shorty
installed hitch kit
repaired and reinforce tunnel
replaced tail light assembly
replaced exhaust gaskets
cleaned apv valves
built and install 12 volt regulator for GPS
inspected stator and electrics
checked compression
cut new bellypan from sheet of uhmwe (puckboard)
also had to machine new shafts and spacers for the skid. And replace a missing idler wheel.

I'm so pumped for snow it's hard to believe. Just got my new 509 Aviator goggles in the mail yesterday. We have rideable snow now, so as soon as it's all together I'm gonna have to go spin the track.

No I was waiting to try it before doing anything so I could feel the difference. I did buy a set of those dartless ski mods from Red River Yamaha last fall but haven't got them on yet. Will try that first, heard good results so we'll see.

Anyone have any experience with Arctic Cat's 800 2 Stroke?

Not looking at starting a pissing match, just looking for a few opinions. I'm thinking about buying a 2012 800 ProCross XF, or a ProCross F

Great motor. Have a ton of hassle free miles on them. New chassis is going through some growing pains but with the updates and extended warranty it should be a fairly safe bet. Killer looks IMO.
