transmission trouble
Can anyone tell me how much work is involved to repair a transmission on a 08 Arctic Cat 650 H1 4x4 that is popping out of high range into low?Is the transmission integral with the engine or separate?Thanks for any tips.

was considering it,but would probably only be interested in a machine with tranny problems if the tranny can be repaired without pulling and splitting the motor.Anyway,no matter if the guy sold it.Thanks anyway.

from the quick research I did,it looks like fixing the gearbox on that cat involves a full teardown of the engine,more work than I would have been interested in.Probably an ok deal for the guy who wants to work on it though.

have you tried adjusting your shifter linkage ? could be a simple fix. just a thought. the cat tranny's are usually pretty good, most the time they just grenade if they have problems.
