LF Opinion on Camping/Cabin Location for Family Get Together

Hi all,
I am looking for opinions on a resort that would work well for a family gathering this coming summer. We are looking for a place that will have some cabin rentals and maybe also allow campers. Good fishing would be a plus!
We are looking for something around the Kenora, Whiteshell, or somewhere a little more east into Ontario.
Thanks so much!

How bout Minaki? Paradise Cove Resort, cabins at Paradise Park will sleep up to 12 people, 2 washrooms. They have room for campers, boat rentals and awesome fishing.

I was put in charge of planning a 16 person family gathering two years ago,
at a lodge in Ontario, I compiled a list of lodges took a weekend and actually personally went and checked them out. Including Minaki.

We ended up picking Andy lake. They had low level cabins to high end cabins.
They can accommodate campers with plug ins. Every thing is close together.

Nice swimming beach, with a zip line, its set up for family groups

The wolf den and main lodge can accommodate lots of people for hanging out at night.

It is owned by people from Stonewall, also the ATV trails are AMAZING.....

Fishing is OK we caught fish but had to work for it.

one thing I also noticed places that had great fishing lacked in all the other things, and if you had great fishing and great lodgings = really expensive
