I shoot almost exclusively CCI Shorts, I find them almost anywhere ammo is sold, Cabelas, Wholesale Sports, even Canadian tire usually carry them. I haven't bought any in a couple months, maybe there is a shortage?

Just to clarify guys, .22 Shorts and .22 CB shorts are two different loads by about 3-400 fps.
I plan on hitting Wholesale this weekend Camo...if I remember I will check for you.

So is the main purpose of using this round for volume control? Looks like they only use the primer and shoot at most 700fps. Makes sense if you need to keep your kill quiet :)
I live in an area where hearing shotguns isn't uncommon, so I just use my .22LR or .17HMR, but this is good to know!

I am referring to the 710 ft/sec rounds that CCI has. If you don't have any luck at Whole Sale, head to Cabelas, they are on the far wall behind the counter right below the high power air rifles....next to the 17hmr rounds..Hope this helps!

I haven't checked in a couple months as I ended up buying an air rifle. Could never find stock locally on the CCI cb's. I still wouldn't mind picking up a couple boxes if they have..

Wholesale did not have the CB's but Cabelas sure does !
Was gonna grab a couple boxes but got tired of waiting for service. They do have them though...

The HP shorts are about as loud as an LR round...made that mistake once.

Thanks...found that out this past weekend. A lil quieter but not by much...I have read the cb longs are just as quiet as the cb shorts and more accurate tho...
