i'll let you know on saturday. We go up there all the time. Moose trail is now open from what i see as well as cougar trail and the loop. Trails are usually always well maintained for the years that i've been going

We went last Saturday. Rode up past camp 29 to moose trail and into bird lake.
For the amount of snow we lost a few weeks back that trail was fantastic.

90% bush
10% swamps & beaver dams.
Most places wide enough to park 4 sleds side by side.

lots of twists and turns on the Moose trail, but a great ride through swamp, tree lined and rock cliffs. 17E trail from Anson hut to Nopoming Lodge is nice as well and about 25km shorter to get to the lodge if you take this route compared to the Moose.

just did this run yesterday. Moose trail was fantastic as always. Icy in the swamp area leading up to shack 29. You cannot get to the trail going north on 220 from large Maskwa hut. You need to take 17E to Anson hut (if riding from Pine Falls area) then you can either go all the way to Nopoming Lodge, head across the lake to the Moose trail head or you can take 220 north from trail 17 just before Anson Hut and then head to shack 29 from there and up and around the Moose Trail. 220 North from large Maskwa hut is closed due to swamp water.

Trails were awesome on Friday ride. Trails #230 and #17 from Pine Falls to Nopiming Lodge were great as are all the trails in tbe Belair Forest. Had 4+ inches of new snow Thursday night.

apparently, i've heard that the groomer has made it up that northern loop on saturday. Just double check the sno man trail map to ensure it's open.

If you haven't ridden trail #230 from Bird Lake I highly recommend it. That trail is outstanding and a great scenic ride.
