here's my frankenquad. its a 230 quad sport front end, with a 250r rear end, and a cb360 twin engine. picked it up this winter. finally found the coils i was looking for a couple weeks ago. got it running still needs a few bugs worked out but seems to rip pretty good. usually I drive my KQ, but think I might have to take this one out once and awhile now too.

fomoko Cool! a 400.

Totally looks like a Raptor 350. Must be nice having that extra 50cc's.

It isn't a "wannabe" when your in front of your buddies, on the trail! Then they are the wannabees.

If you took of the Panterra stickers no one would even know......
If you got some Raptor 350 Decals, you would have everyone completely fooled...

Have a good one,

Shoe.

Here's my first quad in almost 20 years. I think I'm too old to be driving this type of quad, but I know I'll have fun on it anyway. I always imagined I'd get back into quadding by getting a 4x4 with a plow, but I was able trade my sled for this. Not too bad at this time of the year I thought.

I have some changes in mind for it. Nothing crazy but maybe some nerf bars, hand guards, and a decal kit or wrap.

Oh, it's a 2004 Yamaha YFZ450 Limited Edition.

Can a guy fit a wildcat on that North star trail? Does anyone know where we definitely won't be able to go? Would like to experience this great province and wondering how limited i will be with the cat.

The parts that I've been on, the main trail is wide enough for a pickup truck. I mostly ride the North / South stretch that runs parallel to Hwy 59. I'm thinking that the portion that is for a groomed sled trail will be two sleds width at a minimum.

YFZ#43 will become famous soon enough
Season's almost over til hard water racing, might as well revive the thread.
Been hardcore racing since 2001 on ice and 2003 in MX. Finally went back to the dark side-Honda. Haven't been on one since the good ole 85 250R 3 Wheeler. One started as an 04 and the race bike is an 08. A few mods. Bronc-O-Boy11, you need to come out a few more times next year, maybe you can get a different view than my rear number plate Seriously though, it was a blast to see you out, make time more often! That goes for anyone that is thinking of racing

Welcome to the fun side ChuckNorris, Your never too old, in another couple of years I can race the extra old man class haha! Hope you enjoy it, I had YFZ's for many years and it was a benchmark kind of quad.
