Trails off 317

Does anyone know where the closest shack is off 317, other than JLB or Red Deer?

I was riding close to Pit Road off 317 but couldn't find any shacks.

trails around seddons to ldb are dry and wet, some really dry some really wet...I rode all over the area mostly in last week, or so...I like the mud and look for it, but there are ways around it as well..the railbed is just so dusty and bumpy....

dpends on what you ride and how much time you have... hells gate could be an all day adventure, normally is... there are plenty of dry trails to choose to go around all that as well...

I'd love to go on that ride.... Some guys took me and the family on a ride just like that about 7 years ago... It was a great day, a little bit of everything.... I can't remember how to get to any of the trails... I can only remember unloading around Sedons... North of the highway in a field in the middle of the bush... Lol

Riding a 850 XMR like playing in mud holes but don't mind putting the mile on running down the forestry roads and trails also

I know Bigfoot is close to Pit Rd but you can't get there right now since there is a stream running thru the trail and the way off hwy 317 is all bog so you can't get down that way either.

Is there any other huts other than Bigfoot & Reddeer Hut? How far is Milner's Ridge Hut (whatever they call it) from 317?

Umm I've been down those trails plenty. Always been passable. That creek isn't bad at all.. Once in while a little deep. And then to Bigfoot on north side hut isn't that far down trail

There's lots of huts down Milner way. But still pretty far from 317

Out of curiosity, why do you need a shelter in summer? Like I said, just curious.
