A few fun places to wheel around Brandon. Camp Hughes, Oak Lake, Souris River Valley....more places that the Westman Jeep Club knows about. Your tires are begging to be used!

If the terrain is at all a challenge, going it alone is not wise. Get a few friend with trucks. It's more fun and you can push the limits more when there is help along.

It sucks getting stuck, and knowing that a yank with a pull strap would get you out, but instead its a 2 hour walk back out of the woods. I speak from (bad) experience. A winch, but nothing to hook up to. Needed a pull pal.

yeah i hear ya on that. never been stuck but my brother has and he needed to wait for me to go rescue him lol. i can't imagine its fun.

was more hoping there were trails that were easy enough/dry that it was basically impossible to get stuck on.

If your wheeling alone just use 2wd al the time, then if you do get stuck you have 4x4 to get out. Works 99% of the time, hones your driving skills, and if you have lockers you are always surprised at how far you can actualy go in 2wd.

That's actually a good idea. Never thought of that.
Unfortunately no locker yet, but my rear diff is a torsen limited slip, so it's not to bad.
