That's the way cat usually is with new product, 03 firecats had almost a dozen recalls and bulletins. After addressing all the little problems they were great machines. The 12 procross' are the same, 13 got alot of updates but 12's were good once recalls completed.

Yes, first year sleds with new changes probably won't be perfect.
But the cats were beyond what I'd call normal for issues in a first year sled.
i wouldnt buy a 2013 polaris pro rmk either.
What's normal? The 2005 Polaris Fusion 900? The track stayed together, but not much else...

yep, the fusion 900's were a joke as well.
as were the old 800's i wouldnt touch those with a ten foot pole.

im a polaris guy, but im not an idiot that thinks all their stuff is great. its not.

if i was to buy an older sled, 2010 or older, id go with a doo or a cat. and not a polaris.

a guy i ride with has a great storage program on his ac 1100 turbo... ride on the weekend, drop off at dealer for recals and updates.. then ride again on the weekend. drop off for more recalls and updates... ac should have advertised free winter storage for life...lol . good news is he can finally use his reverse.

SO your saying polaris didnt build a bulletproof 700 that eats most 800's before 2010 and your saying a tank of a f8 or crankeater 800 doo would of been your pick prior to 2010. did you just start snowmobiling.

For an 800 yes I would have taken a doo or cat.

And I never said a word about 700's
So why did you try and put words in my mouth?

polaris didn t build a 800 for a couple years and there 700 was the big boy, and super quick, quite likely spank your assault.

My assault is faster than my brothers dragon 700.

But, that could just be him being slow idk.

But when did I say anything about speed?

Here you go again bringing up crap no one had even mentioned.

And what years didn't polaris build an 800.

Yes, I know they built some good sleds prior to 2010. I have never denied that.

Like I said, I was only talking about the 800's. which any logical person knows they were junk.

If you had actually read my posts, maybe you would have realized I was talking about 800's. but I guess you're to good to read, aren't you.

And you haven't answered my question. What years did Polaris not build an 800?
