For editing video you ideally want a quad core Intel CPU, Core i-7. Also there have been some firmware updates for the hero3 that may affect the video quality. Also don't record at 120 fps unless you need to, you are making your videos 4x longer than need be. 30 fps at 720p is just fine.

Also if you have an nVidia graphics card, GeForce 260 or higher (preferably 560) you can purchase a program that supports the graphics card programming language (CUDA) and will render videos much quicker and you can avoid getting the intel CPU which will cost a ton more probably.

If this is all french to you then I can recommend a program and graphics card or CPU. It really all depends on what specs your computer has now. To build a powerful video editing computer it takes about $1000 for it to scream and eat 720p 120 fps video.

If you cut down to 30 fps though you will have a much better time editing the video.
