Transporting deer
Just a question for anyone who knows, if my wife shoots a deer and tags it then needs to leave, can I transport it without her being there? I have not looked at the hunting guide or done any other research on it yet

Yup just have her sign it and date it when you notch. Good to go from there.

Hey gkram1985,
There is a possession part of the tag that she needs to sign and date, which gives you permission possess the animal. Hope this helps. Good luck hunting. |

And..........remember to call her and let her know what she shot and where... lol... Know a guy that had this happen and when the CO called the wife, she had no clue what she had shot...!!! Guess it was a 50/50 chance,.....

![]() I'm sure the COs will be on lookout for that this year with only one tag. The bag limits were lowered for a reason. I hope we all do the right thing out there.
