bahahaha i thought i was going crazy because i swear i seen a sign a long time ago saying will be done august 2012. then it disappeared and never returned, so i guess once they realized they were way to high when they said it would be done august 2012 they took it down. i dont see it being done for a while yet considering in this thread someone said there almost on winter shutdown and only a handful of equipment are running right now out of like 120 pieces

It's no surprise it's taken as long as it has to finish that centreport thing, they hired a general contractor from the lower mainland in B.C. (SNC Lavalin) that has no idea on how to work on the Prairies I could of sworn I saw them using buggies to build a head slope for that overpass last winter. I worked on the Anthony Henday in Edmonton back in 2005 for Sureway Construction and we moved more dirt in a month than they have in two years there. My wife has a decent job here otherwise I'd be working in Alberta, B.C., or Saskatchewan I can live with things be slow a little but this year has been retarded and if Harper does indeed cut off any transfer payments I'm sure it'll bet worse before it gets better here. And if I did have to work out of town it sure wouldn't be for any Manitoba based company what's the point when you can get o/t after 44 hours instead of 50.

It's Hugh munro doing all the dirt work at center port. We got the contract from them and the buggies were either putting preload on or taking it off if it was winter. We stopped dec 23 last year cuz weather was good. This year fall sucks.. We only got top soil left really. And c base year is done for c base. Bridges are so far behind thsts the hold up tons of concrete work left and that's snc contract. We moved more then 2 million cubic yards of dirt in 2 years
