Outlaw sprints this Friday in grand forks

There is no comparison between the two tracks.....what so ever. I go once a year to grand forks for the outlaw sprints on the short track, and the speedway here for regular racing. If yur actually into racing grand forks race track should be on your "to do" list at least once......you've never seen racing until u go there. I'm sure the guys on here can attest to what i'm saying..lol. Basically 2/3's the size of track, and much faster cars = pure insanity. Plus the food concessions rock!

If you want to see them really fly go to fargo biggest track that they run all year. 140 plus..

Ya, been there a few times, but prefer GF speedway by far. On a 3/8 mile oval, there is zero let off on the throttle of the sprints, and the radar coming out of turn four is already over 100 miles an hour. Plus they're throwing mud literally to the top of the grand stands....when the track is that tight, racing becomes completely unique....no straights to pass on like all the other tracks, so it's much different racing...more rage....and carnage....

rivercitiesspeedway.com has the schedules, ticket prices, and where to get them. This weekend is a big special, so don't be surprised cause it's 30 bucks to see the outlaws that we don't see up here. Normal i think is 18 bucks. Should call ahead to see if tickets are available, but from past experience, i've showed up the same day to pay at the gate, and was always in....but i buy in advance now to be sure that i'm gonna get in.

Not sure if it's the same (cuz I'm a girl and all LOL) but the World of Outlaws was up here in July and there were a LOT of cars

anywhoo....have a good time JB and anyone else going...I'm thinking next year I'll try to get to Grand Forks for a couple races

You're half right. Lol. The world of outlaws were here, but that was just the late models. The outlaw sprints are nuts. Steve kinser, Donny shatz, etc. are the ones we watch on speed channel doing the circuit down in the states.

But I went last weekend.

Love that track. I try an go a few times a year also. Haven't been in a while though so last weekend was great to get back there.

Love that track. Like stated its awesome. Basically turning the whole time.

I hav one complaint though. It's kinda to small for the amount of cars sometimes. You get 20+ cars on there it's yellow after yellow till a few are to damaged to run lol. 15-18 cars it's perfect.

your half right too, we had the late model outlaws up here and 2 weeks later we had a good a pile of outlaw sprints running up here but running under the name all star sprints, a lot of the same guys, different name.

both were awsome shows!

Wow. I even have the speedway on my Facebook page and I never even saw that!!!!!!! What the heck. Lol. Did they advertise that? I must have missed that. So there JustT.....I'm half right as well. Haha. I should have saw that though, cause I'm always watching the speedway schedule and f-book page.

I was even there for that race lol...it took FOREVER because they had 18 cars and they had to push start them all...with 2 push trucks at a time.. Lol
