What do you want to know? I won't likely be out riding this weekend getting over a stomach flu.

just wondered how it was..ice ridges or wet spots...might be a good ride for Feb.19..quads or snowmobiles..either one..The Lasalle is great ride but only takes an hour to Sanford from town of Lasalle..Labarriere park is closed to snowmobiles while thir working on bridge..no idea when work will be finished....

It was good riding but there was a soft spot when we went out last. I imagine with how cold its been everything has frozen up. You can do it on a snowmobile but there are obstacles closer to St. Agathe like log jams that can be tricky to get around. But keep in mind I haven't been out there for probably three weeks now I think.

Work and family will be the ultimate deciding factor. Usually people on the river during the weekends when the weather is decent so your not alone if you do go by yourself.

Rode the Rat Saturday from Mennonite landing to St Pierre. Good conditions, no wet spots but a few log jams to navigate. Each Jam had a path around it and it looked like there are a few people cutting up the log jams for firewood.
Couldn't ask for better ice conditions, most areas had a hard snopack with some corners a bit icy.

There isn't much snow so when our friend took a borrowed snowmobile there were frequent stops to let it cool down and even throw snow on it. I would just stick with the quad.

Thinking about a ride on Saturday starting in St. Pierre like always maybe see how far up stream we can go before heading toward St. Agathe if the wind is calm maybe have a fire and a weiner roast if not stop at Lucky Luc's in St. Agathe (good food there). I'm thinking a 12:00 meet up in town at the Arena (usually ample parking there). Weather is looking the best for a Saturday ride if anybody is interested. And as usual quads, trikes, SxS's are always welcome I won't say no to snowmobiles just beware that we won't be going mach 9 like on a groomed trail and there are portions where we have to cross over logs go up steep inclines and there is little to no snow for cooling your engine.
