SPOT track upcoming rides...

Feb 4 Ontario
Feb 5 Manitoba
Feb 11-12 Black Hills South Dakota

Follow the rides on Google Maps in near real time. SPOT will update our current location every 10 minutes. Check our progress throughout the day by clicking the SPOT Shared Page below.

SPOT Shared Page

Tips for viewing the ride on Google Maps:

Expand map to full screen.
Change map view to Satellite (icon in upper right corner)
Use the Pan and Zoom controls to get a close look at current and previous positions. (when in Satellite view and zoomed way in you will be able to see detailed imagery of where we are)
Check in throughout the day to see ride progress.
Note: depending on length of ride there could be more than 1 page of trackpoints. The most recent 50 trackpoints are on the opening page. Click page arrow at bottom if there is more than 1 page to see more track points.

Sioux Narrows was a gas and a short break stop. We ate in Kenora and then again at Jerry's. For something different we rode off trail (cross-lake) from Sioux Narrows to the NWA as the powerline trail was closed and we didn't want to backtrack the L108. Was just Bubba, rjsnowdrifter and I riding today. Hoteling it with rjsnowdrifter in Falcon and will see you in Woody in the morning.

Might be they haven't cleared downed trees? When we went by where the trail starts under the powerline at Sioux Narrows there only a couple of old tracks so it appeared people haven't been going down the trail...so we just continued on cross-country by lake to the NWA.
