Wall Mount Boiler Size?

how do I figure out what size of KW wall mount boiler I need for our floor heat?
1200sqf of basement 3 runs in the floor
600 sqf under floor heat for tile up stairs.

I assume I would also have to have 3 zones. one for the basement and 1 for the kitchen/ dining / entry and 1 for the bathroom.

any good web site's out there to help me figure out how to zone it and stuff?

Your might want to check that it has some type of certification and wasn't something built in China on the down low. Last thing you want to do is burn your house down...

thanks for the reply, I have looked at these for a hot water heater but did not realize people were using them as a boiler to heat floors with. How big of a surface is your buddy heating??

have to be careful...some are just that water heaters...not boilers. Some are specifically electrical boilers so you get more output.

But for the cost of them...you can afford to buy 2 or 3 and have in stock if one goes.

I suggest one that have dual elements or 3 and you can adapt what you need. Plus the newer ones have infinate settings and brains to raise and lower the output required. Thus ...if it is warm out....it does not heat to the max...only what you need.
