Anyone know where to look for a nice diesel dodge or Chevy. Around 2006-2010 no long box kinda want it done up already only found 2 on kijiji

I've been watching for a while now......there isn't much for trucks that haven't been ran into the ground when it comes to diesels. I don't get why they run them like race cars at every stop sign or light for no reason at all....not even racing anyone.....mind boggling. I was looking for the right one for almost a year, but eventually gave up after being completely disappointed every time i scheduled to see one that was in "mint" condition. I was looking for stock though, so you may have different appeals when it comes to finding one. Will keep an eye out for you.

ya i dont know i was just looking at trucks in Alberta on kijiji and they dont seem to be any cheaper than out here.

I'll do a check here at steinbach dodge.....ya, it's a dealer, but they sometimes have some nice used stuff there. Too bad, cause there's was one at a dealer in town here about a month ago that was very nice...looked like about 07 or 08 2500 diesel, white, 4 dr, loaded, with a little bit of lift and some nice looking rubber....it looked like a clean unit, which is nearly impossible on the diesels....

thx JB, im gonna look at one on sunday its an 06 2500 cummings, with 50k on motor and 150k on truck,$4500 in the tranny (built up) its got lift, tires rim a bullydog air intake with custom hood, body needs a little tlc, has a few dents and needs to be polished $18000 i think its worth a look

No it's not I went and looked at that 06 I almost got back in the car before the guy came out. It's a east truck rust everywhere like bubbling in the middle of the doors every panel has a dent. Cracked t case . Don't waste ur time

Is it that bad? It might be worth spending a couple grand to fix the body. But u say the transfer case is cracked ? Leaking?

Well if the motor was replaced and it looks like crap how do you think the previous owner drove it? I would stay far away.

Apparently the motor went due to an injector problem. I would even consider a nice newer sweet looking gas truck

Everything is rusted on that truck . Motor came from a wrecker so km are probably bs. T case cracked then welded and cracked again . Stay away

Looked at steinbach dodge tonight. There's two 06's there right now. One is a grey Laramie megacab with some goodies and very very clean. Second one is a white quad cab, with lots of options as well, but not in as nice a shape as the grey one. Both diesels, but i don't know the kms and prices of them.....just thought i'd pass it on to ya for chits and giggles.....they are both actually very nice shape, i'm just a meticulous freak, so the grey one is more my type. \the white one is actually clean as well....has a fifth wheel hitch in the box, and the inside is nice, but not as nice as the grey one.....grey one is spotless...sprayed in box liner, no scratches, hitch under the bumper doesn't even look used...lol. And the interior on the grey one is spic and span....so who knows, they may be asking an arm and a leg for them, but they're known to make deals when u go in person and deal....but either one would be worth the money, that's for sure...
