This Flood stuff is ALSO CRAP

i have a 590 sq ft deck, ive been using flood since i put it up.

Not using it again either.... last 2 years MAX.

i stained all boards in the garage before installation, so they were dry, not in the sun, and the flood stain never penetrated like it should.

i gave it 2 years, rented an orbital sander, and sanded the whole deck, ( as pressure washers, clear the carbon between the grains on cedar as i was told, it will rot faster )

Re-stained, and again it lasted 2 years.... FLOOD IS GARBAGE... they say they warranty their stains.... BULL SH! their response is i didn't use the stain correctly....

I had the very same experience with Flood.... When I purchased my cedar from Cedarman, I asked the owner what he would put on if it were his deck... He recommended Flood..... Worst product ever and it was the first product on my cedar deck... In places, I'm still trying to get the sheet off... Tried Behr, Home Hardware brand, Northern Paint, and a few others.... Sikkens oil penetrating Deck Stain seems best for my deck... All others were substandard or complete junk... For my deck, Flood performed the worst.. Flood left a skin and never penetrated... A skin just leaves it open to peeling off in short order....TJ
