The 2 are much farther apart than 20 lbs. The XTX with a full tank of gas and oil without any cargo is almost 600lbs.

Sled Wet Weights &MPG
SLED Wet weight/LBS. MPG
Arctic Cat ZR 7000 Limited 605 12.67
Arctic Cat El Tigre 6000 509 NA*
Ski-Doo XRS MXZ 800 E-TEC 569 12.52
Ski-Doo Renegade 900 ACE 577 NA*
Polaris Indy 550 526 10.10
Polaris Indy 800 SP 568 10.79
Yamaha SR Viper 607 13.69
Yamaha SR Viper LTX 605 13.05

You can't compare wet to dry but there's no doubt that this Pro-S is significantly lighter than the Viper. Yamaha and Arctic Cat don't publish the weights for their new 4 strokes or at least they're very hard to find. Soon enough we'll know about the reliability. This is like comparing apples to oranges though.

Ride and enjoy !!

Winslow has a spectacular aura aboutWinslow has a spectacular aura about
Freelance -- the smoke will always be there .. I enjoy the smell of cigar smoke ... that smell of two stroke ... you never loose that smell ... My friend rides
a yammie and when he needs to energize he follows me for a few miles... Still a great sled you purchased

Weight on the two Polaris I had

2006 - Fusion 900 -- 545 lbs dry --

2009 - IQ 800 -- 490 lbs dry --

For Speed the Fusion 900 ran like a rabbit -- hit 105 and I was not even close to slowing down

Freelance you got a good sled -- See you on the trails soon
