Not one failure? Thats pretty damn awesome, but to be fair, Cat has only sold 25 units in 4 years! JK

I love your quip, thats great and the facts remain that Cat is on top of their game with quality control. In the last few model years we have done very little warramty work but as always,if its built by humans there will be some failure.I do love the CAPTIANS humour.LOL

I to raced sleds years ago and I will never agree with that statement. It has a heck of a lot to do with the machine, ride, handling and durability.A rider has some impact but the top riders are close to equal in riding ability especially in the cross country scene .

Yup. It's all theirs now, like the 600. Cat is finally dipping it's toes in the epa pool now and not relying on 4 stroke credits to run the dirty 800

The EPA is screwing up a lot of good products like all the diesel engines that now have regen systems.ALSO BURNING DF fluid to make things cleaner.really.I hope Trump cuts funding even more.Hopefully our Playboy takes note and scraps much of the stupidity going on in this country.

Yeah, we don't need to breath as long as our vehicles can.

Lol - a tree hugger will be a tree hugger - most of our "clean energy" takes more energy to produce than it saves. So Bob is right, if the government would scrap a lot of its "environment regulations", fuel economy and performance would actually improve.

Yeah I would say that is the bestest bestest sled ever made, cause it never fails and wins races too!

YUP!Back when I was racing Polaris ran the Starfire in a 649cc triple and it was the fastest sled out there. In fact Maltby from Tyndall set a speed record at Beausejour on a 649 cc Starfire. That engine was quicker than the Fuji 795 cc triple. It was the machine coupled with a good rider that was the winning combination. It was simply faster then anybody else until Villeneuve from Quebec showed up two years later and ran unbelievable Lap times on a Alouette .He came to town with 3 sleds tied to the top of a school bus and they looked like they were ted togather with bale wire but could he fly.
