Carbides. Singles or duals

Currently using staggered dual carbides. Pushes thru corners. Do I go back to singles and put up with darting? Or?? Thoughts!!

I was always a fan of singles. 6" shaper bars worked wonderfully for me on my '12 switchback assault. Not really any pushing in corners and it wasn't darty. I didn't ride super hard on trails though.

Lots to consider
Are you running studs?
Have you check your ski alignment ? 1/8" toe out or more this is very important in reducing darting
Have you set up your suspension?
If your running studs try 7.5" shaper bars or carbides of your choice at least 8"
ive ran dooly with good success . This year on my new sled I'm going to 6.5" shaper

I run dooly 6". there good as long as the snow conditions are ideal. depends on the temp they fill up with snow turn to ice and your back to square one. I was thinking of going to bergstrom triple points. I have also read on HCS if you take the pressure off the tip of your ski then it tends to climb out of ruts rather than searching for them. some company makes a mod for it. I just made my own. will give that a try this season.

A lot of stock skis are garbage regardless of the carbides.
Another vote for Shapers. Length is determined by track length, picks etc

What size lug on the track?

My '12 switchback 144 non picked with a 1.325" lug cobra was damn near perfect with the 6" shapers fwiw.
