2003 Polaris Classic 600

Wife currently has a 2003 Polaris Classic 600 121" its a great machine and she loves it. The only downfall. Its a trail touring sled. Living in the middle of Saskatchewan we dont have many trails around us and are usually valley riding. She is wanting something that will work a little better in the deeper snow. I know its only a 121x15x1 that is on now. My question is, Could i put a 1.5" on and not rub?

Thanks for the possible replies.

Off the top of my head, I couldn't imagine why not. Keep in mind the drive pitch, if that's off you'll end up with WILD vibration or just shred the inside of the track. One thing I've seen before is a track and tunnel extension, then you can put a longer track on it.

I've got a '02 Classic 700 with the M-10 suspension. I put a new 1.25" ripsaw on with no issues.

I had a 02 classic 700 with ripsaw 1.25 with no trouble, upgraded to a polaris 1.25 with 144 pics at just under 1.5 and never had any rubbing problems.

So you should be good with 1.5.

1.5" will work. I've got on my Polaris. Any taller an you need a track that's got the grooves to clear your cooling rails.

If your buying a track anyways, consider long tracking to a 136". If it has the edge skid you will love it. If it has the m-10 I really have no idea, never ridden one with an m-10.

Long tracking my 05 xc was the best thing I ever did to it. 1.5" fits the xc no problem, and the classic is the same chassis.
