Didn't get a chance to go to the parts store today. I'm going first thing in the morning. I'll let you know what happens

I have hammered a thin nail down and used it to scrape the inside of plugs, cleaned with brake clean and they have worked for a while. Also used the stove/blow torch.

Ok I got new plugs installed. It fired for a second, then died. I checked the spark, right cylinder has excellent spark, left cylinder has barely any. Is there anything I can do to get more spark besides buying a new coil pack?

Did it fire right up or did you choke it. It could be flooded, therefore fowling the plugs again. I would remove the plug that you say has week spark from the cylinder head. I would then start it with the one remaining plug. It will start and run on the one cylinder. Give it a go.

Your first post said you could get it to run on a gas jug instead of the fuel tank. Know you say you have poor spark on one side. Things should not be changing at this rate. Be sure you know what the problem is, before you start changing things. It will be a lot cheaper for you.

I had a similar problem on my Indy lite. What I did was remove the 10mm crankcase drain bolts and raise the back of the sled up allowing all the old fuel and oil to drain. I then swapped the plugs around and away it went. I had also cleaned the carbs and made sure it was set up right. Good luck with your fix buddy, keep us inform of your progress.

This is what I had to do sometimes with my 85 trail. Personally I would just light a match, after all it's just a pile of Poo.

Just bugging the Polaris fathful!

It fired right up, with no choke. When I pulled the plugs they weren't fouled out.

Its sounds like a spark issue. You may need to replace coil.
Try replacing plug wire and cap on weak side before you replace coil.

Im gonna check the connection on the weak wire going to the coil. By the looks of the coil on it, it looks fairly new.

No doubt about it this sled has gremlins. And alot of them

Ok so riddle me this. When I installed the new recoil spring, put everything back together, bolted the recoil case on the motor I forgot to put a bolt in. We'll I found the bolt, put it in. And on the first pull it fired up. Why did it not want to fire with one bolt out. Also I'm back to not getting any fuel

If you have debris in the tank, it'll keep plugging up until you remove it try the blow back again.... other than that, get down on your knee's and say a nice little prayer everytime you want to ride
