What make and model was your first sled

My first sled was a 1970 Ski Doo 399 TNT.So lets see what the rest of you started with. After my first sled I had a 1971 Rupp 440 Magnum followed by a 72 Polaris 340 TX.Sledding was great in the early70's with 65 or so manufacturers and the industry sales were over 500000 units per year.4 times what they are today.

1967 ski doo Olympic. I drove that sled till it died.
My uncle had a 1970 ski doo Nordic 399 with electric start.
I felt like I was king of the snowmobilers when I drove that one.

this is our first... should look like yours me thinks.

and this is a stock pic of the one that made me feel like a King. Wish I could find a real pic. and still had it. Blizzard 7500, comet clutch, 65 hp, torque reacting slide suspension, mono leaf shocks up front, dual exhaust, aeronautic air induction cooling assist, wind tunnel designed to hold it on the snow..... didn't think it would ever get better than this. It felt like it was puckering your underside when the throttle was cracked.
