Poo clutch puller

I am in need of a polaris clutch puller. LF for some good samaritan to assist in this adventure.

Too late guys went there on Saturday and pulled it off for him for free.

I cant believe how easy that was with the right puller. i was going to try it with something from Princess Auto. i am going to purchase one when i can. PX3 came over and assisted me and i think it took all of 15 seconds to actually take it off. i have to send a great thank you for him for that. who know what kind of thing i would have done to my clutch if there were not people that to help me and to the rest whom offered thank you as well. i do have the starter off now and will see if that is still usable or have to order a new one. i have found starters on ebay for as low as $50 to $70 so i am guessing under a $100 to my door. cant beat that even after market locally fo $140 - 200 plus taxes. Polaris wants $300 for the motor and i think $200 for the work if that does not involve installing a new bendix. With bendix (if needed) they want a total of over $700 for both including install. isnt that CRAZY? or am i just that cheap?

i made a clutch puller by using two bolts. cant remember the sizes tho... but basically one is a 7/16 fine bolt about 5 inches long with the ground round to fit inside the polaris clutch and a slot ground into it to use a screwdriver to thread it in. once its threaded into the crank a few turns i put a 3/4 fine bolt into the clutch and tighten up and tap with a hammer. works like a charm and costs about 2 bucks and ten mins time to make.
