It is the secondary I want to remove. also, ru sure it just slides off? Im only saying this because polaris makes a puller for the secondary? but If ur telling me that I dont need one, that would save me borrowing or buying one. Any more help would b much appricated. oh ya, the quad is actually a 2001 500 h.o. with the enging brakeing clutch. If that makes any difference?

the secondary come off with one bolt, a 1/2" wrench, a couple turns and off with the clutch you go... its on splines.. just pulled one the other day.. unless of course yours is rested on, but shouldnt be..

Ya, I have encountered a few that are sometimes on there pretty tight, cause water gets in the clutch cover etc etc... or what have you... best thing is to have your clutches serviced every 1000 miles I have found out, and others have found out the hard way when they never thought in 5000 - 10000 miles that they should be serviced, then everything is worn out LOL
