here is an install tip:

If you have a creeper, set the track on the creeper, it makes it easier to move it a round while you are lining it up with the wheel bolts. Another thing I did was use a paint marker to mark the bolt holes from the back/inside that I had to use on my bike(you could mark both sides)....and get a 2nd set of hands the first time. 2nd time it will go easier. Good luck.

I have an 08 AC 500 TRV. I read on the camoplast website that the tracks have to be installed by a qualified dealer, to avoid warranty trouble I guess. Anyone know if that's the case?

Most of us put our own on, I would check with the dealer you got them from to see if they think it would be a problem.

STEWME, when you first installed your tracks, did you have to replace the hub studs. The studs on mine are too short (about an 3/4 inch).

Everything on mine was sized properly & fit very well. The only challenge was re-routing the front brake line as instructed, to get them so they wouldn't get rubbed by the tracks, even after the re-routing.

Just talking to a camoplast rep. and he informed me that camoplast had a smaller lug nut in '09 and wasn't tappered. The new tappered lug nut is larger and longer giving the illusion that the nut is not taking much thread. Anyway, he told me to tighten everything up and try it for a couple miles then check to make sure everything is OK. I'm still not convinced there's enough thread to keep everything going. But that's just me. Cheerio

You can install yourself take your time and make sure
any spacers etc you need are in place.Make sure your
shocks are ajusted to full.Tracks need to be ajusted
off and on till broke in then check once in awhile.
Warranty not a problem. They just did waranty for me
with just a few calls and pic's.

Thanks for the reply guys. Alittle late since I've been using them all winter and still going. Nice to know that there probably won't be any problems with warranty coverage if I need it. I was went for a ride yesterday afternoon and into the evening. Had to pull my bro. inlaws skidoo 600 out- motor siezed solid. Then went coyote hunting with him. You wouldn't believe me if I told you where I put the quad with both of us on it. Lets just say I wasn't expecting to be home on time!!! Wish I had taken some pics.
