There is no insulation at any of the door openings and I am not sure why.
 We debated this for a while. We all think they should have insulation also so the pad would be all insulated. Now these doors have nothing and this is where my heat loss is going to be.With that said I still went with the engineered plans which stated no insulation there. Well after several discussions about the insullation at the front of the pad I decided to put the insulation up and then back fill.
Then we lifted the front and back wall. Had 10 guys to help lift the 40' wall and it was no problem.

once you put stairs going into the house and toolboxes and cabinets it will look smaller. we have a 2 car garage and a car and a quad barely fit in there. we have stairs,work benches, cabinets and so on so it makes a big difference in space if you have lots of stuff lol.

The roof sheeting was finished and the gables were closed in. I put in a attic access on both gables.

And then the doors........Man door was easy of course but the 9x8 insulated (R14) doors were overwheling as there were so many parts. First one was slow to assemble but then the next 2 were not so bad.

update on the build. It doesn't look like I've done much but it sure feels like it......lol......
rough electrical is done. Vapour barrier on the ceiling completed and the OSB up. Lights installed.

and this week I finished the floor.....
 First it was pressure washed, acid washed and then dried for 3 days. Then I applied Epoxy-coat.
