truck lift kit

well i'm about to pull the trigger on a leveling kit and want to hear what everyone likes. i'm about to buy a 3-1/2" Full Lift Leveling Complete Kit, heavy metal lift off ebay. i've been doing research and i haven't heard anything bad about them. i've read that rough country has problems and i want to stay away from the aluminum spacers. looking for the steel spacers. i would love the 6" but that costs to much. oh and i drive a 08 gmc sierra z71 slt

ive never been a fan of spacers at all, but its definately the cheapest way to go.

but id reccomend a true suspension level. something like Rancho has.
or these are apparantly good if your wanting spacers.

I have a 2"skyjacker leveling kit in my 09 sierra and i have had no issues. for the back i went to west end spring and picked up from them a 3" block and they custom made u bolts. it is a little rougher ride of course, but it looks good. Make sure you post pics when your truck is done

I've also heard that ReadyLift is a good quality product. So how does putting on a level lift with torsion keys affect ur ride?

I got aluminum spacers in the front of my 07 silverado and no problems at all. But just so you know if you level your truck, as soon as you load your quad in the box your truck will sag in the back and make your headlights point for the sky. So to fix it look into a load leveling kit from Airlift. Its air bags that you put in between your leaf springs and frame, you can fill the bags maually with an air compressor out of your shop or by the onboard compressor kit and wiring in an air compressor under the hood of your truck and install gauges and switch in the cab. I also put this in my truck, its sweet. Now myt truck doesnt look like a whimp goin down the hwy haulin my quad or camper etc

So did you end up going with the heavy metal lift? I was looking at the same one. If you did go with it how do you like it? Was it easy to install?
