inter pioneer trail... here is a link:

http://www.southinterlakeatvclub.com...IPT_Trail.html

Probably a long day, not sure how easy the trail is. I would like to do the whole thing as I'm interested in at least doing 2-3 mega long runs this summer. I'm also up for overnight (but not for ipt).

Planning to head to the lake (near kenora) and spending allot of time exploring out there. I need to figure out exactly where the ingolf connection is over CPR to Malachi. That would be great for me to know. I also want to explore the private access road in to Winnitoba. I have accessed parts in winter, but want to do a summer run.

The Interlake Pioneer trail is 106km end to end.

Our club just did our 3rd annual Iron Man run where we run the whole trail end to end and back. It was a 10.5 hour day with the stops and lunch.

A machine can go all the way to fisher branch on a tank of fuel.

It's a easy but long ride, if you do end up going and want to do any high speed runs just be cautious of deer and other wildlife running out in front of you.

I've been on the trail quite a few times and the furthest North was BroadValley cattle texas gate. The 500 Ranger just barely fit and the 700 Ranger was a no go.My question is can a person open and close the wire part of the gate. One of the other bad parts is just North of Chatfield. The cord wood bridge is in very poor shape. The logs were sticking up every which way last weekGetting stuck there a few times now not good.Sure was nice to see all the stone etc: that was put into the big holes just North of the cordwood bridge.Would be nice to see the same happen to the two bad spots {cord wood bridge hole and the next bad hole just North of it.I'am sure its a costly thing to do to fill in spots like that.

Yea we have found that those Texas gates we installed are too narrow for some SxS's. On our ride the RzR fit, commander X fit but the commander XT with fender flairs didn't. Had to open the wire gate to go around. If you do need to open the gate PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY ARE CLOSED PROPERLY BEHIND YOU.
Any rough or bad spots on the trail are on our to do list. It's a matter of time vs money vs volenteers. All the bad spots are marked on our gps and will be fixed ASAP.

Is it marked so that it's clear where not to ride? If I went I want to stick to the trail. I was sorry to miss that group ride!

Yup it's marked, it's also a old rail bed so you pretty much couldn't get lost. There are no off shoots.

Is the spot marked? What part of the trail is it on?

the spot to watch was up towards fisher branch, about half way from inwood i think. and you will spot it for sure, it is the only spot with a branch sticking up with tape on it.
